Ok so this month has been quite busy for us, Allyssa's class at school has been working on an American History Wax Museum they all had characters in American History, they had to do a report on their character and a powerpoint and they all made their own scenes and put it up and you walked through like a museum and stopped at each one and they had a speech they would recite it was really neat. They learned alot doing it Allyssa's character was Clara Barton the founder of the American Red Cross. And yes that is my old prom dress she is wearing it was a little big we had to take it in but doesn't she look great.

Ok so we also had Mackeys first Pinewood Derby. Bryan and Mackey worked really hard and this is it the 1st place winner thats right my brothers my son won first place on his first try it was so awesome.And yes it is a dragon hand carved by Bryan lets just say it flew, Hahaha.


Mackey didn't even realize until 2 days later that he had won first place over all the other cars because he had lost a race. But his car was the over all fastest and that is how they chose the winner his car ran the track in 2.57 seconds, the next closest car was 2.7.

Issybelle loves music Allyssa let her have her mp3 player one day and she loved it she wouldn't let Allyssa have it back when we finally took it away she cried and cried it was so funny.

Anyway it has been a fun month so far and with Issy's birthday coming up I am sure we will continue to be busy and having alot of fun.

So the other day I was doing dishes and Issybelle was sitting in her jeep it got really quiet so I decided to check on her and this is what I found. Poor girl she was so tired she slept for 3 hrs this was the day after we found out she had another ear infection, she didn't sleep at all the night before.

This is my new dishwasher pretty fancy we were going to get it in black but they didn't have any in stock so we got stainless steel.

Valentines Day and other stuff

Ok so I decided to update our blogg we have been very busy at our house. Allyssa has been doing a ton of stuff at school one of the things she had to do was a science fair project, she decided to see which brand of popcorn pops the best. It was fun but it sure took alot of time. We also had valentines day of course, it was fun but tiring, I was in charge of Allyssa's class party, and well it was kind of lame but at least they got a party if I hadn't done one they wouldn't have had one. I also helped with Mackey's class party so I was pretty much at the school all day, because on Thursday mornings I volunteer in Timmy's class reading with the kids. So Bryan took the day off and stayed home with Issybelle because she was sick and I spent my day at the school needless to say I was sure glad when it was over. Also more big news after a year of washing dishes by hand I finally got a new dishwasher, yippee. It is wonderful and now I am making the kids do the dishes we will see how long that lasts.

Ok people I am finally updating our blog. We had a great Christmas and a Happy New year. The kids got alot of stuff for Christmas, but when we were all done opening presents Timmy took a look under the tree and said " hey where is my Xbox." So I guess Santa goofed. Anyway it was fun having a new member of the family for Christmas. Issybelle was fun to watch although she was more interested in the wrapping paper then the presents although she does enjoy the presents. Mackey had a great 8th birthday, and a wonderful baptism thanks to all that came. I can't believe he is 8 and is in scouts and everything, he is loving it. Timothy is doing great, he is having so much fun being in 1st grade. He is getting to be a pretty good reader but we need to work on his writing skills sometimes you can't even tell what he has written. Allyssa is keeping us busy she is on student council this year and so has meetings every other Wednesday. She also has Fun and Fitness Club, and Piano, along with Activity days and her many social activities she likes to do with her friends it seems like I am forever running her places. Last week all three of the older kids went and stayed at Grandparents houses, Allyssa went with G&G Smith and Britney and Kellie to the Uof U Gymnastics and had a blast. G&G said she never stopped talking, gee I can't imagine where she got that from. Mackey and Timmy spent the night with G&G Tomlin and got their haircut and had alot of fun. Bryan, Issybelle and I just stayed home and had a quiet night alone because Issybelle had an ear infection her first one. She is doing better now but I sure didn't get alot of sleep for about a week. Well lets see what else can I say except Ben and Katie Florida sounds really good right about now. If it snows too much more I might just have to pack my bags and come visit you. I am so sick of the snow and being stuck inside all day. Although everyday is an adventure with Issybelle you never know what new thing she is going to do. But I am tired of being inside, and I think Issy is too. Today I put her coat on and walked over to the neighbors just for a minute and she loved it she loves being outside so I can't wait till it gets warmer. I probably won't gett anything done in the spring and summer. Well I think this is getting to be a novel so I will say good bye I will post some new pictures hopefully tomarrow.

Yeah Pictures.

Ok so I still am not quite sure what I am doing but hey I finally got it to work. Now let me explain some of the pictures. The First one I will call Issybelle fingerpainting with her Chicken Noodle Dinner. You see Timmy stayed home sick that day and we were just sitting down to eat lunch when he started throwing up so I rushed him to the bathroom in my haste I set Issy's food on her tray so she thought she would paint with it how could you be angry at such a cute face. Next just posing for the camera what a cutie. We have had a busy month, my neighbor and I decided it would be fun to make gingerbread houses with the kids she had the mold I had the recipe so we made houses WOW did we have fun a bit messy but we sure had fun. Issybelle had definately got the Smith tongue it is always out she is licking frosting off her lips after eating a sugar cookie. The last picture is of Allyssa helping Issy walk the kids have this thing where they turn on the Christmas song Put one foot in front of the other, they turn it on and walk Issy around the room, as you can see she has to concentrate really hard now who does that remind you of. Well anyway as I said we have had a busy month but we are ready for Christmas. We want to wish every one a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
